Quiet Work

Quiet Work - Ramen Shaman Art

Lately I’ve been learning to be okay with quiet. For a long time I needed noise, movement, something to distract me from what I didn’t want to feel. Now I see the value in slowing down, letting silence do its work.

There’s a kind of clarity that only shows up when things get still. You start to see what actually matters, what’s worth carrying forward, what can be left behind. The hard part is trusting that stillness doesn’t mean you’re stuck. It just means you’re listening.

Most of my best ideas come from that space now. Sitting in the studio, letting paint dry, thinking about the shape of things to come. It’s not about chasing inspiration anymore, it’s about showing up long enough for it to find me.
