the final work in my series on memory. I imagined the halo as a kind of vacuum, stripping away everything—your skin, your identity, your personality—until only bones remain. This figure exists in a perpetual state of that process, with memories flowing over its face and into the void of the halo. It’s like watching your life play out on the face of a stranger as everything fades to black., acrylic on 16x20 vintage hand stretched canvas.
